SHE DID THAT! A celebration of the achievements of women artists and entrepreneurs

AROSE, in partnership with Recycled Modern, is excited to announce the SHE DID THAT fundraiser – a celebration of the achievements of women artists and entrepreneurs. Come learn of the work of AROSE while networking and viewing the artwork of local women artists. Music by DJ M. Elle and food and drinks provided by local black-owned businesses. 

Mission

AROSE’s mission is to bridge the opportunity gap for underserved Black and Brown youth in trauma-prone communities through post-secondary scholarships, support services, and community outreach initiatives.

We are dedicated to changing the narrative of how our young people in these communities are seen and what they can become. AROSE is committed to showing that traumatic events do not define their future but enable them to become productive, hopeful members of society.

Vision

Youth who arose from trauma-prone communities continue their education and become the next generation of leaders.
